BOSEC: the quality REFERENCE for fire protection
The Bosec brand covers all areas of fire prevention.
Both the services and the equipment used are subject to BOSEC certification.
These can be divided into three main sectors:
- Passive prevention concerning the fire resistance and stability of structural elements, compartmentalization, doors, tightening of fire penetrations, etc.
- Active prevention, which covers both automatic and manual means of detecting and extinguishing fires.
- The operation of buildings and the organisation of fire prevention: the best investments in equipment are nothing if they are badly exploited by the occupants of the premises.
The BOSEC mark also lists training centres in the field of fire prevention, but does not currently evaluate them.
